JULES, THE AMAZING BOXER

My boxer Jules, who you see in the logo, is unfortunately no more with us. But for me, he lives on: a beautiful soul transformed into the BoxerinBlue brand.

FOUNDER

Inspired by her life in Singapore and Shanghai, Dutch designer Wendela de Goederen founded BoxerinBlue in 2015. Wendela who lives in Amsterdam with her family, continues to work on her next designs in Retro style, accommodating the wishes of womesn around the globe.

Aming for women to look best, was the driving force for designer Wendela de Goederen.

STUDIO 5, HOUSE OF CREATIVITY

In Studio 5, in a traditional shikumen house (literally: a house with a stone gate), in a back alley of the former French Quarter of Shanghai, De Goederen found her place alongside other foreign creative types. “When I arrived the first time, I thought I had the wrong address. The Chinese neighbours were busy cooking, playing cards, and doing the washing outside. And there in the middle of it all was a group of foreigners all painting, writing and making bags, jewellery and chutneys to their hearts’ content. For me, that was the last piece of the jigsaw falling into place.”

Que je sois dans une station balnéaire, sur une plage privée, ou dans une partie éloignée du monde, BoxerinBlue est ma pièce spéciale, où je me sens élégant, dans l’eau, autour de la table ou contempler au bord de la mer au coucher du soleil. Of ik nu in een resort ben, op een privé-strand of in een afgelegen deel van de wereld, BoxerinBlue is mijn speciale stuk. Ik voel me elegant, in het water, rond de tafel of mijmerend bij de zee bij zonsondergang. Eindelijk een swimwear lijn die stijl, elegantie en originaliteit combineert. BoxerinBlue reist door de tijd.

Whether I am in a resort,  on a private beach, or a remote part of the world, BoxerinBlue is my special piece, where I feel elegant,  in the water, around the table or contemplating the sea at sunset. Finally a swimwear line that combines style, elegance and originality.
